Printing a checklist

If you’d rather work on paper out in the field than on a screen, you can also print a blank checklist for a colony.

How to print a checklist

Open the checklist for the colony you want and choose the print option there. The app generates a blank template with all the checklist’s checkpoints, which you can then print out.

Working on paper

Fill in the printed checklist by hand as usual while inspecting the colony — checkmarks, traffic-light status, and notes on paper, just the way you’re used to.

Getting back into the app

If you want to capture your handwritten notes digitally afterwards, simply photograph the completed sheet using the photo-scan feature on the checklist. You can find out exactly how that works in the article on digitizing a paper checklist by photo.
