bee-pilot.io UG
Built by people who stand at the hives themselves
bee-pilot.io did not start as a product idea but out of our own need: to run an apiary properly without retyping notes in the evening. We use what we build — which is why we notice quickly what does not hold up in practice.

How bee-pilot.io came about
Martin explains how his own need at the apiary turned into an application – and what still drives him today.
Feedback sets the order
The features added most recently were not in a plan — they came out of conversations with beekeepers. What is asked for often gets built. What nobody needs is left alone, even when it would look good on a page like this one.
Knowledge does not belong behind a login
Our articles are freely available, with no account and no newsletter requirement. Anyone reading about the grassland temperature sum or threshold-based varroa management who never uses the app still gets something out of it. That is intentional.
