Your Experience Counts – These Features Are Now Top of Our Roadmap Thanks to Your Feedback
The Next Development Steps at bee-pilot.io Come Straight from the Community.
We’re thrilled with the many new registrations and users who have joined bee-pilot.io in recent weeks. But even more exciting is something else: the tremendous amount of valuable feedback from the community. It’s this feedback that we need for further development – because our vision is clear: a solution by beekeepers for beekeepers.
From the numerous responses, two topics have particularly emerged. The desire to further expand our existing checklist module and to create an interface for connecting hive scales and measuring devices was most frequently mentioned – and now tops our development agenda.
We want to decide together with you which of these two features is currently more important for you. The vote will take place in our Facebook post:

- 👍 Thumbs up: Interface for connecting hive scales and external measuring devices

Further Development of the Checklist Module
Currently, bee-pilot.io provides structured checklists with important checkpoints that can be fully documented and evaluated. As the next step, we are expanding this module so that users can add their own checkpoints, create individual checklists, and continue to evaluate results specifically by colony. This makes documentation even more tailored to the beekeepers’ personal workflows.
Interface for Hive Scales and Measuring Devices
Many beekeepers are already working with hive scales, temperature sensors, or other technical solutions. Therefore, we are developing a simple and well-documented interface through which measurement data can be directly transferred to bee-pilot.io – even without being a developer. Initial prototype tests already show how valuable continuous weight and temperature data are for quick and informed decisions at the apiary.
