The building blocks of your beekeeping page

Seven building blocks are available to you. For each one, you decide how much it shows.

My Colonies in Numbers

The core figures of your beekeeping: number of colonies, number of locations, and the bee breeds of your current queens. You can toggle each of these details on or off individually.

Additionally, there is a map with the flight radius around your locations. It intentionally displays only a rough center of the area with a circle around it – never the coordinates of a bee stand. If desired, an AI can summarize the figures in one sentence.

Trust & Experience

Signals that show how you work without disclosing individual data:

  • Control Intensity – how regularly you inspect, as a count over a period
  • Health Status – that you monitor for Varroa, optionally with the average level
  • Experience – how long you have been using bee-pilot.io
  • Operating Mode – if you have recorded it in a separate field

Individual inspections, dates, or measurements are never published.

Weather at the Bee Stand

The current weather at your locations, with forecasts and the recorded temperature trend. If a visitor has multiple locations to choose from, they can switch between them using small tabs.

Free Text & Photo

Your own text – the spot for “About me”, your operating mode, or your story. You can include a picture with it. If desired, an AI draft can help with the text, which you can freely edit.

Image

A single image with a headline, orientation, and image description. The description is not just an accessory: it will be read aloud to people using a screen reader.

Contact

Address, phone, mobile, email, and website – taken from your profile at the push of a button. The address appears as a link to the visitor’s mapping application, and phone numbers are provided as call links.

Offers

Your products as a list – no online shop. There is no shopping cart and no payment; the customer will contact you.

For each offer, you provide a title, description, optionally an image, and optionally a price. Two things are tied to a price:

  • For a price, you need a base price (for example, “€12.00 / kg”). The app calculates it from price and quantity and displays it directly below the total price, as required by the Preisangabenverordnung (Price Indication Regulation).
  • Additionally, you need a complete imprint and a contact block connected to a price, otherwise, the page cannot be published.

You mark a sold-out offer – it remains visible but is clearly labeled as sold out.
