Using the Side Editor

The editor shows your page as it will later appear to the public. What you see is not a preview of a placeholder but the same block with the same content – just with control elements above it.

Rows and Columns

Your page consists of rows. Each row can be single, double, or triple column, and in each column sits a block. For example, you can place your key figures and the weather side by side.

Tap on Add Block, first choose the layout (single column, double column, triple column), and then select the block for each space. A page can have up to seven rows.

On a narrow screen, multi-column rows automatically stack on top of each other – your visitors will never see a cramped page.

Moving and Removing Blocks

Blocks can be dragged to another column or another row while holding the mouse button down. Open a block’s settings via the gear icon, and remove it using the trash can icon. You can remove an entire row using the icon at the edge of the row.

Writing Text Directly on the Page

You can type free texts where they will appear later. Use the small toolbar that appears while writing to set bold, italic, alignment, and text size.

Auto-Save

There is no save button. Every change is saved immediately; at the top, you will see Saving… and then Saved. If you change a setting that needs to be recalculated, a loading icon will briefly appear in the affected block.

The Page Panel

On the right, a panel with all the tools that do not belong to a single block unfolds:

  • Header – Title, image, and its alignment
  • Colors – Color scheme and accent color, with preview
  • Findability – Google and beekeeper search chat
  • Imprint
  • Data protection – your page’s own privacy policy
  • Versions – History, sharing status, restore
  • Public Address – view and copy
  • QR Code – download as PNG or SVG
  • Visits – how often your page has been accessed
  • Take Page Offline and Reset Page

Preview

With the preview, you can see your page in mobile and desktop widths. It behaves exactly the same as the published page – even when multi-column rows wrap.
