Publish, Review, and Edit Page

As long as you are designing, your page is a draft and not accessible to anyone. It becomes public only when you publish it – and from then on, the published version remains unchanged until you release a new version.

The Checklist Before Publishing

The Publish button first shows you what is still missing:

• Terms of use accepted
• At least one module present
• Imprint complete – required by law for every published page
• Privacy policy present – likewise mandatory for every published page
• Contact module present – mandatory for offers
• Active subscription present

If something is missing, you’ll see exactly what is. If the subscription is missing, the switch is inactive and a red notification box states the reason.

The AI Review and the Traffic Light

After publishing, an AI checks the content of your page – for legally risky statements, missing mandatory information, and content that does not belong there. You don’t have to wait for this: the review runs in the background, and you can close the dialog and continue working.

The status shows as a traffic light in the editor:

• In Review (yellow) – currently running
• Approved (green) – the version is publicly accessible
• Rejected (red) – the version will not go online

If it gets rejected, you’ll be given the reason. If you believe the assessment is wrong, you can file an objection and state why it does not apply – we will review the case. Alternatively, you can change the contested content and submit the version for review again.

Versions

Every release creates a version. In the Version History, you can see all versions with date and status (currently live, approved, in review, rejected).

• An older, approved version can be activated – it will then immediately become the public one again.
• A version that you no longer need can be deleted. The currently live version cannot be deleted.
• By selecting Create New Version, you turn the current public version back into an editable draft.

As long as a version is live, content is locked against accidental changes. You are always working on a draft, never on the published version.

Take Page Offline

Take Page Offline makes your page immediately inaccessible. Content, images, and version history remain completely intact – you can republish them at any time.

Share Address, View, and QR Code

In the page panel, you will find the public address of your page. Next to it are two buttons: one copies the address, and the other opens your page in a new tab, just as a visitor sees it. The editor stays intact, so you can switch back and forth.

The Open button is only active if there is actually something to see under the address – that is, if an approved version is online and your subscription is active. If either of these is missing, the button is inactive and states the reason; a link to an empty page won’t help.

Additionally, you will find the QR Code available for download, as PNG for printing and as SVG for labels and stickers in any size.

When the Subscription Ends

If your subscription expires, your page will no longer be publicly delivered. Nothing is lost: content and all versions remain saved, and after renewal, the page will be back online without you having to publish again.
