The Magic Button chat: ask the app directly

The Magic Button chat is your AI assistant in bee-pilot.io. Instead of hunting through menus, you can simply ask it a question — in plain language, by typing or by voice.

How to open the chat

On almost every screen in the app you’ll find a floating icon with a spark symbol in the bottom right corner. Tap it to open the chat right over the current screen.

What the chat can do

• Answer questions about your own data, for example the status of a colony or your last inspection.
• Analyze a photo you upload, for example to get an assessment of it.
• Accept your questions as a voice message instead of typed text.
• Recently also answer questions about news and help topics, by drawing on the content published in the News & Help area.

A note on usage

Like the app’s other AI features, the chat uses part of your monthly AI quota. You can see how much you’ve used so far under your profile, in the “AI Usage” area.

If you can’t find a matching answer in the chat, please contact support as usual.
