Scanning and printing QR codes

QR codes let you jump straight to the right colony at the apiary, without having to search through lists.

Printing a QR code

Open an apiary’s overview and print a separate QR code label for each hive stand — individually or all at once for the whole apiary. Then stick the label onto the corresponding stand.

Scanning a QR code

Open Scan QR code from the side menu and point your camera at the label on the stand. You land directly on the matching colony’s page, without paging through apiary and colony lists.

If a code isn’t recognized

If the app can’t match the scanned code to a colony, you’ll see an error message and be taken back to your apiary overview.

Why it’s worth it

Especially if you manage several apiaries or many colonies, this saves you from manually navigating through lists — one scan is enough, right there at the stand.
