Viewing a colony’s Varroa assessment
Every colony has its own “Varroa” tile on its dashboard, showing you the current status at a glance and leading to the full assessment.
The Varroa tile on the colony
The tile shows the current threshold level and the raw value of the last measurement, along with the measurement date and the method used. If the colony’s last action was a treatment rather than a measurement, the tile shows the treatment date and the label “Treatment” there instead. Tap the tile to open the full assessment.
Overview
At the top of the assessment you’ll see three values side by side at a glance: the current threshold level with its label, the current infestation percentage, and the short forecast result (worsening, improving, or stable, with probability).
Below that you’ll find the Forecast section — collapsed by default — with the detailed AI-based reasoning behind the infestation trend. Tap the row to expand it. Use the refresh icon to recalculate the forecast once new measurements or treatments are available.
Right below, the 5 Varroa infestation levels: row shows all threshold levels side by side, each with its label — this is the legend for the levels, not the colony’s current infestation.
History chart
The chart shows you the colony’s infestation over time along with the configured threshold values.
A treatment is marked in the chart with the abbreviation configured for its treatment method in the settings. When several markers are close together in time, the app automatically arranges their labels across multiple rows so they don’t overlap. The “Today” line is marked directly below the time axis with its own label. The legend below shows what the lines for Treatment and Forecast mean.
Log
Below that you’ll find all of the colony’s measurements and treatments in chronological order: the counted raw value, the value calculated from it (e.g. mites/day), and the threshold level as a colored circle with its label. Tap an entry to edit it — the edit dialog also lets you delete it.
If a Schnellerfassung or treatment batch session for this colony’s location is currently running and hasn’t been completed yet, a highlighted red notice “Measurement active” or “Treatment active” appears at the top of the log, showing the start date. Tap it to resume the open session directly.
Correcting a measurement
Tap a measurement to open the edit dialog. Changes to the raw value are saved as soon as you tap Save — the infestation and threshold level are then recalculated automatically.
