Buy a hive scale and you usually get a second app with it. And a third for the sensor. bee-pilot.io is the place where all of it comes together: ready-made connections for common providers, an open interface for everything else.
Connections that run without programming
For common providers such as Honeylink, an access key and the assignment to a stand position are enough. After that the values come in at the interval you set — without you ever having to touch it again.
An interface for home-built devices
If you measure yourself — with a home build, a tinkered solution or a provider without a ready connection — you get a personal access key and push values straight in. They land in the same field as everything else and are evaluated the same way.
How a connection actually works
The video walks the whole path once: register the device with the manufacturer, generate a claim code, add the device to your own account, assign the data fields — after that the readings arrive on their own.
Data export is not a special case
Everything you have recorded can be exported in full — not as a favour, but as a right under GDPR. A system you cannot get out of again is not a platform, it is a trap.
