At the hive you quickly photograph a striking brood nest. In the evening there are forty pictures in the camera roll and none of them knows which colony it belongs to. In bee-pilot.io the photo is taken inside the inspection — and stays there.
Comparison over time
The same colony in April, June and August side by side: that shows developments no number reveals. A patchy brood nest, chalkbrood, a queen you marked — documented rather than remembered.
Show instead of describe
Something odd you cannot classify is hard to put into words — but easy to photograph. The picture stays with the entry when you ask at the association or the bee inspector.
Tidy without tidying
